Wouldn’t it be nice if you could go no further than just a few steps outside your front door to see beautiful creatures such as these white-tailed deer? Well maybe not, if you’re a gardener. As a photographer though, I was happy to see these young bucks and does deer roaming nearby on a beautiful autumn day in Montana, just off the shore of Flathead Lake where I was visiting family.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
When the world feels upside down, I like to look up. The sky is an ever changing canvas, from night to day, from season to season. A multi-colored canvas painted with dramatic compositions and vistas as a constant reminder of the glory of God, the creator.
DOGS — Big one, little ones, pure bred, mixed breed, fat, skinny, fluffy, fast or slow. I haven’t met one I didn’t like yet. I have two of my own — a red heeler mix cattle dog and a mini-schnauzer. They make quite the pair. Not a day in my life goes by that they don’t brighten it up in one way or another. If you are a dog lover, I know that you know exactly what I mean by that.
Dogs are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. To learn more about my “petography” sessions, contact me with the form below for more information. Let’s take a walk in the park (or your back yard) and create some CRAZY BEAUTIFUL images of you and your BEST FRIEND for memories you will treasure for many years.
Here are some samples of my work for you to browse and enjoy.
Come on in, the water’s great!
Are you the one for me?
I’m not as mean as I look.
I’m too sexy for my leash.
Look into my eyes.
Let’s make a deal.
Bah humbug! It’s cold out here.
It’s a beautiful life!
Where’d the ball go?
Stand BY me, not on me.
Somebody left the gate open. YAY!
Don’t look back!
Little on the outside. Big heart on the inside.
I love you
Don’t come any closer, or I’ll disappear through this doggy door faster than you can say the treat word.
And with it comes red robins, fresh air, colorful new flowers, beautiful skies, honey bees buzzing, wind and rain.

SPRING SHOWER CURTAIN COLLECTION – Getting clean was never this much fun!
It’s wet, gray and gloomy this week in February. Never the less though, I’m thinking of summer and the return of the delicate flowers and busy honeybees.
I’ve been working on my fine art galleries, and this is one of my newest creations. I photographed this beautiful penstemon (also known as beardtongue) flower in the all-volunteer Master Gardener’s demonstration garden early last summer. The garden is located in Kennewick, WA.
I’ve treated the image with a bold brush stroke texture to enhance the vibrant color and details of the original photo.
This pretty little honeybee is available as a fine art print in my Etsy shop, and you can get there by simply clicking on the image.
